When my third child started kindergarten in the fall of 2022, I had a little more space in my days for the first time in years. And I kept finding myself back in the same place: other people's homes, helping them figure out why things weren't working.
Friends had always noticed how my house ran. The systems felt invisible because they were actually built around how we lived, not around what looks good in a photo. When people started paying me to do that for them, I thought: okay. Maybe this is something.
I started this business the way most good things start— accidentally.
What surprised me was how much it mattered emotionally, not just practically. I've watched clients stand in a pantry that used to give them anxiety and just... exhale. I've had moms text me three months later saying their kids can actually put things away now. I've seen marriages get a little easier because the house stopped being a source of friction.
That's what this work actually is. It's not bins and labels. It's less friction. More margin. More time for the parts of your life that matter.
Today, Live Organized by Erin is a full-service organizing studio serving Austin's busiest households. We've tripled in size since 2025, we work alongside interior designers and custom builders, and we're building toward a team of organizers who all work the way I do—intentionally, without judgment, and with the whole home in mind.
I'm still figuring parts of it out as I go. But the work itself has never felt more right.

We build for how you live. Not how a magazine wants you to live.
Before we put a single thing in a bin, we ask how your household actually functions. Who puts things away and who doesn't. Which systems you've tried before and why they fell apart. What your version of 'maintained' realistically looks like.
That conversation is what makes our work last. We're not imposing a system on your home—we're building one around it.
We also know that letting someone into your house, especially into the spaces you've been putting off, takes real trust. Our process is completely judgment-free. We've seen it all. Nothing surprises us, and nothing is too far gone. You'll feel supported, not scrutinized, from the first visit.
